So there's not actually much to write about at the moment. I'm kinda stuck in a little revision/exam rut at the moment. I've had 6 exams (4 were retakes - so i've done all my retakes now!!!) and I have 7 to go - argh so many (i don't have the most... a friend of mine has about 22... crazy...) and jo only has 4... that is so mean... i suppose she's already had a 10 hr art exam... but thats just not the point is it?
Havn't really been doing all that much - done some revision, worked on sat, went up to Cambridge for nan's and anna's birthdays on sunday - that was a lot of fun! I can't believe that Anna's already a year old! she is the cutest thing you could ever see... and such a happy baby! much more cuddly than her brother ever was - though he really was just as cute! lol
went to ikea on tue with my mum... to buy a new side table thing for the TV... we didn't end up with it - as 'beech' now must be a synonym for bright orange. that store is so crazy... its designed as a maze - all their stores are the same - but with little suttle structorial changes that have been put there so that you can't find a anything. They do helpfully provide you with a store map (and pencil - i like their pencils... that would be a plus point for the store...) which just tells you that you're on the wrong floor... argh crazy... and i'm convinced that they've got their own sense of time in that store - hours go past without you knowing... and the names are funny - however they want people london accents to pronouce sweedish names (those funny o's always get me...) i don't know! lol... basically we ended up coming out without the orange/beech tv bench, but with another table that we needed that the website had said was out of stock lol. oh and i got a lamp - its really cool - in spite of their maze-like stores and unpronoucable names they do have some fun stuff - i love all their lighting... such fun!
well i have rambled on for long enough tonight considering that i have basically done nothing worth mentioning in the last week... lol

argh... just been revising chem unit 2 for my resit 2moz... i printed off the specification paper from the edexcel website and did it... its meant to be an hour long but i finished and marked it in under an hour... hopefully it goes as well tomorrow! i'm convinced that the mach scheme was wrong for one of the questions though! really utterly convinced! lol... had another retake today - m1... i think it went really well (though it was the one i did best in last year... just statistics is so dire that i need to push up the marks anywhere i can!) - so maybe other exams will follow suit - like s1 on thurs - thats unlikely to as i've done NOWHERE near enough revision for it. I find it really hard to revise (and for that matter learn) as my brain just doesn't want to deal with large amouts of collective data and find means, medians, and ranges and then have to draw all sorts of graphs (which i've never liked) and get more information out of that... I really want to learn it and get better but the subconcocius part of my brain has put a mental block on it. :( basically just don't like it.
So last week was half term... in which i planned to do the most revision ever... and urm... didn't. I worked monday, sorted out tax (yey getting £400 back!) and did about 1/2 hr revision, went to the gym, did the same on wed, then decided to get into it on thurs... actually did loads of revision (though how much statistics actually went into my head is debatable). Then on friday i went shopping :) now that was fun! Jigna, sarah and I went to Camden... and had a lot of fun... bought a really cool beatles bag, (and another cheap pretty bag), some posters (jonny depp... yum... and pulp fiction... really cool) and had noodles in a proper noodle box for lunch - you know the kind of boxes that they always have on american tv shows - though if you get chinese/indian/thai takeaways in this country they always seem to be in much less glam tin foil cartons... so cheep tasty noodles very well contained! lol and of course we had to stop off at starbucks (its a tradition). Then we went up to leister sq - looking for cheap theatre tickets. To cut a long story short we didn't find the ones we were looking for - and sarah went home to revise - but me and jigna planned to spend some more time on oxford street, stopping off a pub on the way. What we did figure out though is that weathspoons pubs, while amazingly cheap, arn
t that imagnative in name - having the same name in leister sq as one of my locals...lol
So over wine we decided to get tickets to another show that sarah hadn't wanted to see - chicago! and before the show we stilll managed to get an hr or so of oxford street shopping in (meaning we spent a lot less time than we usually would in topshop/H&M!) and had dinner (when we realised that after finishing our meal we had 1/2 hr to make it to the theatre!). The show was brilliant - brooke sheilds played roxie... and was really good! velma and billy were amazing though - had such a good time!!!!!
Worked sat, revised sun, revised mon, exam today, exam tomorrow, exam thurs, revise fri, work sat, nan and anna's b-days on sun... argh - so much revision to do - all over in 3 weeks tho... argh i can't wait!
